She is the President of the Poitou-Charentes region, a member of the National Assembly, and a prominent member of the Socialist Party. Nicolas Sarkozy (born 28 January 1955 in Paris, 17th arrondissement), is a French politician, the second son of a Hungarian father, Paul Sarközy de Nagy-Bocsa, and French mother, Andrée Mallah. He is often nicknamed Sarko. As of 2006, he is the head of the conservative party UMP and Minister of the Interior. He is a declared candidate for the Presidency of the Republic in the 2007 election. Jean-Marie Le Pen (born June 20, 1928) is a French far-right nationalist politician, president of the National Front party and perennial candidate for the presidential elections. He advocates immigration restrictions, the death penalty, incentives for homemakers, compulsory military service, censorship of the arts and euroskepticism.
