French sure about their presidential choice
A new BVA poll should come as a warning to Segolene Royal and Francois Bayrou, who each need to boost their poll numbers ahead of next months election.
According to the poll, a full 55% of the French have already decided on who they are going to vote for, and will not change their minds in the next few weeks. On the contrary, 25% said they knew who they were voting for, but it could still change. Of the absolutely sure voters, 61% come from the right, and 52% from the left. On the bright side for Royal, the greater volatility of the left could mean could mean that there are still somemore untapped votes. On the negative side, she still needs many thousands of French men and women to change their minds before election day.
