Total participation might hit 86%

Ifop and CSA are predicting that final turnout will hit 85% to 86% of voters, approaching final turnouts of 87.3% in 1974 and 85.9% in 1981.

Official results do not start coming out until 8:00pm, so even if I did have them, I couldnt tell yet ;)

The results have been broadcast on Belgium websites..its a victory greater than imagined for one of the candidates.

Stay tuned til 20:00 to find oout which one...

For unofficial estimates you can try letemps.ch (Switzerland). RTBF (Belgium) seems not to be responding for the moment.Yahoo.com breaking news has a reuters article as well (in English).

Would 56% be a record? What is the highest score in a French election? Boz, do you know this?

If you don't count chirac vs Lepen election ( chirac : 82% )
It's a really nice score yes, it's usually 51/49.
